THE MAGIC BOX

"Gran I hate you!", shouted Tanya.

"Its pouring with rain outside", Gran said keeping calm, "so you will stay inside for now.

"Fine then im going to the reading room,"balled Tanya,"when I get there I'll look for the book called how to shut your gran up."

" You'll never learn Tanya will you," sighed an upset gran.

Tanya a young girl of 11stayed with her gran a lot. Her parents worked long hours and only spent time with her at the weekend. As you can see Tanya can be nasty most of the time,but she will be nice when she wants to be. Although its hard to beleive she really loved her gran. She has long brown hair, bright brown eyes and deep red lips.

Gran was old and was 65,her name was Heidi.Her late husband Joe died a year ago of aheartatake,he was only 66. As this had happend Heidi did not might looking after Tanya. Heidi loves her grandaugther but she can be a bit of a handful. She has grey curly hair,crisp hazel eyes and a cheerful smile to greet you.She also enjoys baking.

When Tanya got to the reading she started to pull all of her grans books out."World War 2" she said pulling a book out. When she opened the book a rusty ket fell out. She took the key and put it in her jeans pocket. After that she pulled some more books out. She noticed that the wallpaper behind the books she had just pulled out was pelling. So she started to take the wallpaper off the wall. Then she finds a box she takes it out of the wall, and lays it on the floor.

CHAPTER 2

The box is old and dusty. It was a shade of chocolate brown. It had a rusty heart shaped locker,where a rusty key went in. It had KEEP OUT, NEVER OPEN,DANGER and many more signs all over it. Tanya being Tanya took no notice of yhe signs. She pulled the key out of her jeans pocket and put it into the heart shaped locker. It took a little while before the key would turn. Then click went the lock and the lid flew open. From now on Tanya's life was going to be horribe but she did not know that.

Then suddenly out of nowhere dark clouds came into the room,the reading room went cold and the lights went out! Tanya was amazed and couldn't wait to see what happened next. Black and grey smoke came out of the box and started to fill the room. After that a small person started to rise from the box. It then fell to the floor and picked its self up. Then the doll went over to Tanya and jumped into her lap. "WOW AN UNDEAD DOLL I'VE ALWAYS WANTED ON OF THESE", said a very happy Tanya. " Better hide the box though." but what about the hole in the wall." I know i'll hid the box in the basement and while i'm down there i'll get some wood and glue," said Tanya.

When in the basement Tanya hid the box on the top shelf. She took the doll ,the wood and the glue back to the reading room. When she got to the reading room she put the glue on the wood and stuck it onto the hole on the wall. " There all done ,"said Tanya. Tanya then picked up all the books she pulled out, and put them back on their shelves. Tanya's gran had never heard a thing a thing in the passed hour because she was deaf in on ear, and had to have the tv up very loud. After she had finished with the books she went over to the doll and lloked at it.

Self-Evaluation

I enjoyed reading my story

the bit I liked best when she opended the box and this thing came out.

I thought exciting and thrilling fitted in with my story.

I think the best bit is when the doll raises from the box run's and juped into Tanya's lap.

I'm pleased with the beginning because it is a good start.

I think it is easy to follow most of the time.
